Join us for an extraordinary Hard Hat Happy Hour celebrating masterful restoration and timeless craftsmanship, all while doing the classic BIABB Networking! We're exploring Quincy's most remarkable architectural treasure, the Wilson House, circa 1910, which now serves as our BIABB President's newest office location - and what a labor of love it's been.

Why This Place Will Blow Your Mind:

  • The ONLY Folk Victorian/Queen Anne house in this historic neighborhood - talk about one-of-a-kind architecture!
  • Original materials virtually unchanged since 1910 - beaded siding downstairs, plain siding upstairs, and that classic Georgian floor plan preserved in all its glory
  • Bay windows galore - first floor AND that gorgeous tower window that's been a neighborhood landmark for over a century

But Here's What Makes This Extra Special:

  • This project is close to our President's heart as it's her family's legacy - and she's brought this sleeping beauty back to life! Watch how she's masterfully preserved:
  • The original Georgian floor plan with center hallways and four rooms per floor
  • Those incredible quarter walls with square columns in the large living room
  • Authentic beaded siding and original flooring that tells the story of superior 1910s craftsmanship
  • The architectural integrity while creating a modern, functional office space

The first black-owned home renovated on Quincy's south side - this restoration project showcases what happens when you honor the past while building for the future!

Come raise a glass to preservation done right! Whether you're passionate about historic restoration, curious about maintaining original floor plans, or just love seeing old buildings get new life, this Hard Hat Happy Hour celebrates the art of bringing history back to its former glory.

Open to all BIABB members and guests - because great restoration work deserves to be celebrated!
